what is auxiliary objective lens
An auxiliary lens (also called a “Barlow” lens or “objective” lens, (it is enclose external,different from the integrated objective lens),the functon is to increase or decrease the total magnification of a microscope, or increase or decrease its working distance.
Auxiliary lenses also cause a corresponding increase or decrease in working distance.
Mounting a lens that increases total magnification would result in a shorter working distance, while mounting one that decreases magnification would result in a longer working distance.
auxiliary objective lens increase decrease data
magnification/work distance/Magnification/ work distance.
0.3X 287MM decrease magnification, increase Work distance;
0.5X 165MM decrease magnification, increase Work distance;
0.7X 120MM decrease magnification, increase Work distance;
0.75X 120MM decrease magnification, increase Work distance;
1.5X 45MM increase magnification, decrease Work distance;
2X 30MM increasemagnification, decrease Work distance;
